Elanu Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and [FULL LEGAL NAME], an individual based in Serbia ("we"), who operates the Elanu app. By using Elanu you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. What Elanu is — and is not

Elanu is a voice journal with an AI companion that helps you reflect on your day. Elanu is an AI. It is not a therapist, doctor, psychologist or emergency service, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Its replies can be inaccurate or incomplete; use your own judgement.

If you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself or others, or in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away. Elanu shows helpline information when it notices signs of distress, but it cannot respond to emergencies.

2. Who can use Elanu

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone and account secure.

3. Your content

What you record or write is yours. You give us a limited licence to process it only to provide Elanu to you (transcription, AI replies, reports, sync) as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models and do not sell it. You can delete your content or your account at any time in the app.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Elanu to break the law, to harass others, to try to access other people's data, to reverse-engineer or overload the service, or to extract the AI's instructions. We may suspend accounts that do.

5. Free plan, Elanu Pro and trials

• The free plan has limits described in the app (for example, one entry per day).
• New installs get full Pro for 3 days free of charge, without a payment method. Afterwards the app switches to the free plan unless you subscribe.
• Elanu Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price is shown before you buy. If the store offers a free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your Elanu account does not cancel a subscription.
• Payments, refunds and billing are handled by Apple or Google under their terms.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Elanu available, but it is provided "as is" and may change, be interrupted or have errors. We may add, change or remove features. If we make important changes to these terms, we will tell you in the app in advance.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on Elanu's replies. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Ending use

You can stop using Elanu and delete your account at any time. We may end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
